Warehouse/production – Operations
- Storage of raw/stock material.
- Maintain inventory of warehouse.
- Process products on the cutting machines and other processes.
- Packing finished/semi-finished goods.
- Loading shipments.
- Team player.
- Processing work orders in line with our SOPs.
- Planning workload.
Health & Safety
- Maintain housekeeping / 5’s standards in your area to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist in training new starters/apprentices in line with on-site training matrix.
- Ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management in your area.
- Accountability for your own safety and the safety around you.
- Perform daily checks on all handling equipment i.e. fork-trucks, overhead cranes, saws and slings.
- Escalate to team leader any findings and propose solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities are performed safely by yourself whilst also looking out for other employees.
- Using machinery, fork trucks, sided loaders, cutting material with attention to detail to high quality standard, packing parts/lengths to critical customer requirements.
Planning
- Plan and co-ordinate, in conjunction with the team to ensure all customer orders are met in a timely efficient manner.
- Maintain relevant paperwork for traceability purposes.
- Strive to meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Carry out random quality and inventory checks.
- Package all products prior to dispatch or delivery.

- On time delivery.
- 5S.
- Quality claims management.
- Tonnes and orderliness per FTE for productivity and efficiency.
- Picking material in a timely manner.
Key Skills

- Band Saw competence (Preferred).

- Counterbalance Fork Truck and side loader competence (Preferred).
