We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced, mid or Senior level Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary, respected and well-established consultancy. This role is based in Peterborough and offers excellent opportunities to assist with developments across the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services including HVAC, ventilation, fire suppression and air conditioning systems.
- Work closely with clients and design teams to ensure compliance from concept to completion.
- Bring technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach to every task, while mentoring junior engineers.
Required Mechanical Design Engineer Experience
- HNC, ONC or Degree level.
- SBEM, AUTOCAD, REVIT or Hevacomp experience.
- Sustainability Sector experience.
- Chartered Mechanical Engineer or working towards.
- MEP Building services related design experience.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be expected to demonstrate sound health and safety practices, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the smooth delivery of projects on a day-to-day basis.
