- Smartfoot Operatives
- We have an exciting opportunity for
Operatives , with all levels of experience, for our Housing Division, working with Smartfoot, our precast modular system.
- What you’ll be doing
- Working as a smartfoot operative as part of the housing team on construction sites nationwide
- Reporting into Site Supervisor
- Be familiar with and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health and Safety Policy.
- Ensure that near misses, accidents, incidents and other safety concerns are promptly reported to the site supervisor.
- Assist with inspections of all plant, lifting equipment and recording on the appropriate forms where trained to do so.
- Be respectful to all people you interact with, treating everyone equally and embracing differences.
- Conduct self in a way that reflect and promotes the Van Elle company values
- Understand and act in accordance with Van Elle’s policies and procedures
- Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake.
- Who we’re looking for
- Experience working in construction.
- Previous experience working with a precast ground beam system would be beneficial, however training will be provided dependant on experience
- Strong work ethic and Punctuality
Other Requirements
- Eligible to work and live in the UK.
- Flexibility to travel in the UK.
- A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK (desirable)
- Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card
