Job Title: Piling Operatives

Locations: Nationwide

We have an exciting opportunity for Piling Operatives, with all levels of experience, to join the UK’s largest and most diverse geotechnical and ground engineering contractor.

What you\'ll be doing

  • Work as part of our specialist helical piling (Screwfast) teamfor all site activities, before, during and after piling activities.
  • Liaise and take instructions from your supervisor in a professional manner
  • Support project team and supervisor in efficient delivery of the project.
  • Review and understand all method statements and risk assessments relating to the project.
  • Be familiar with daily/piling tasks and project specific safety rules, policies and procedures ensuring adherence to them.
  • Be familiar with and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health and Safety Policy.
  • Ensure that near misses, accidents, incidents and other safety concerns are promptly reported at the appropriate level.
  • Conduct self in a way that reflect and promotes the Van Elle company values.
  • Understand and act in accordance with Van Elle’s policies and procedures.
  • Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake.

Who we\'re looking for

  • Proven relevant experience in construction or civil engineering, as well as appropriate health and safety training
  • Previous experience would be beneficial; however training will be provided dependant on experience
  • Strong work ethic and Punctuality

Other Requirements:

  • Eligible to work and live in the UK.
  • Flexibility to travel in the UK.
  • A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK (desirable)
  • Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card
