This is a unique 2-year apprenticeship in Van Cleef & Arpels Boutique in London. You will be supporting the Boutique team on front of house related activities and receive training in the areas of customer service, customer insights, organisational and communication skills, along with business awareness. Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

  • Clienteling
    • Assist Sales Associates during presentations (welcome clients, serve the drinks, bring products)
    • Prepare & wrap the products
    • Process the sales (prepare product related documents, follow payment procedures…)
    • Support sales team in their daily clienteling activities
  • Maison Identity
    • Follow Brand visual identity guidelines (visual merchandising, day-to-day maintenance)
    • Provide support for event organisation
  • Customer Service
    • Assist Sales Associates during CS presentations
    • Perform CS activities allowed in the boutique (shining, engraving)
    • Prepare & wrap products
    • Process the CS (prepare product related documents, follow payment procedures) when needed
  • Client Experience & In-Store Journey
    • Welcome client and ease their waiting (offer drinks, show catalogues, tour of the boutique, inform on waiting time…)
    • Support Sales Associates in client presentation preparation
    • Review and set-up the workspace
    • Check daily the cleaning of counters, displays, and windows
  • Operations
    • Review and set-up back-office sales tools (catalogues, boxes)
    • Contribute to operational tasks if needed (stock counts, safe replenishment, price tags update, consumables management, deliveries pick-up & drop-off)
    • Monitor supply stock (consumables, drinks, stationary)
  • Training
    • Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills

  • Experience in customer facing roles (like retail, hospitality, tourism)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent English language skills (oral and written)
  • Understanding of luxury retail service standards, particular attention to detail
