We are looking for a skilled and motivated Paint Technician to join our Night Shift team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract. Working within a fast-paced, high-performance environment, you will be responsible for preparing, painting and finishing composite components to the highest quality standards.


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paint Technician who takes pride in delivering exceptional finishes, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working as part of a team focused on quality and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare carbon fibre and composite components for paint, including sanding, masking and all associated preparation work.

  • Mix paints to achieve accurate colour matching and finish requirements.

  • Spray paint composite components to a consistently high standard.

  • Carry out quality inspections to ensure components are free from defects before release.

  • Ensure work is completed in line with production schedules and departmental priorities.

  • Verify material and treatment documentation complies with technical specifications and process requirements.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

  • Support continuous improvement activities within the Paint Shop.


What We're Looking For


Essential Skills & Experience



  • Proven experience as a Paint Technician, Painter, Vehicle Painter, Aerospace Painter or similar role.

  • Strong paint preparation and spraying skills.

  • Experience working with composite materials and/or specialist metal components.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

  • A flexible and proactive approach to work.
