Vamonos Recruitment are working with an award winning Tour Operator and leading DMC who is looking to grow their Group Operations team. This is a hybrid role 3 days in the office, 2 days at home. The Role of Operations Executive for this leading tour operator: Managing all aspects of group travel from enquiry to post-trip follow up Creating unique tours throughout the UK, managing all bookings required: Hotels, Coaches, Restaurants, Attractions and more Ensuring timings and logistics work for the tours (good UK geographical knowledge is crucial) Comply with company standards, updating company inhouse booking platforms Working closely with client from start to finish Contracting ad hoc product when we required. Negotating competitive rates with hotels, leading tourist attractions and other tourism products needed. Skills required as a Operations Executive: Strong Negotation skills Excellent at working under pressure to tight deadlines Team player Tour Operations or Travel logistics experience Excellent UK geographical knowledge A background in the UK Travel and Tourism industry is advantageous If you speak German or French this would also be a huge advantage but not a deciding factor
