About Vamoa
Vamoa is a full-service Amazon agency working with consumer brands across the UK, EU and US. We manage the full Amazon offer end to end: listings, SEO, A+ content, storefronts, brand registry, the full ads stack including DSP, FBA and FBM fulfilment, compliance, launches, reviews and Pan-EU expansion. Our client roster spans some of the biggest names in supplements, food and drink, beauty, pet, baby and homewares and we're growing fast.
We offer three core services: Full Service Management, standalone Ads Management and Paid Consultancy. We're now hiring a Business Development Executive to help us grow new business across all three.
The role
This is an outbound-focused new business role reporting into the Head of Client Services. You'll be the engine behind our top-of-funnel pipeline, identifying and engaging brand owners and decision-makers, booking qualified meetings and supporting the wider sales team through to close.
You'll work across LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp and the occasional phone call, with trade shows (FIBO, PLMA, Elevate and similar) as a major lead generation channel throughout the year. HubSpot is our CRM and you'll own your pipeline inside it end to end.
This is a brilliant role for someone with around a year of B2B sales experience who's hungry to grow fast, build a serious skill set and have real ownership early on.
What you'll be doing
- Prospecting and qualifying brand owners and consumer product companies actively selling on Amazon
- Running outbound across LinkedIn, email and WhatsApp with a direct, no-fluff voice
- Booking discovery calls and audits for the senior team, joining where useful
- Researching and prepping ahead of trade shows, working stands on the day and following up post-event
- Managing your pipeline in HubSpot: contacts, companies, notes, tasks and deals
- Working closely with the client services and ads teams to shape pitches and proposals
- Feeding back what's working in market and helping refine our outbound playbook
What we're looking for
- Around a year of B2B sales, business development or account management experience (agency, SaaS or ecommerce a bonus)
- A direct, plain-spoken communication style. We don't do agency waffle
- Genuinely curious about how brands grow on Amazon. You don't need to be an expert on day one
- Confident on LinkedIn and happy picking up the phone
- Organised, self-driven and not put off by rejection
- Comfortable working at pace and juggling a high-volume pipeline
- Excited by trade shows, meeting brands in person and the energy of a growing agency
Bonus points for
- Experience selling into consumer brands (health, wellness, personal care, baby, pet, food and drink)
- Familiarity with Amazon commercially
- Interest in tools such as Apollo, Claap, Smart Scout, Claude and Microsoft suite
- Previous use of HubSpot or a similar CRM
What we offer
- Competitive base salary with uncapped commission
- Hybrid working with a minimum of three days a week in our SW London office
- Real exposure to senior decision-makers at recognisable brands from day one
- A clear path to progress into senior BD or account management
- A team that values output over hours and gives you the autonomy to run with it
- Regular team socials, trade show travel across the UK and EU and an amazing office to actually want to be in
