What you’ll do day to day:
- Provide guidance to customers on the availability of parts, ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Operate in a fast-paced call centre environment, handling high volumes of inbound and outbound calls.
- Engage in tele sales activities, proactively reaching out to trade customers to promote parts, offers, and services.
- Demonstrate strong communication and sales skills.
Responsibilities:
- Convert enquiries into orders and build lasting customer relationships.
- Receive, log, and accurately allocate parts and consumables from suppliers.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Offer knowledgeable recommendations on suitable parts to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer records on our systems.
- Effectively communicate relevant promotions, offers, and product information to customers.
- Ensure full familiarity with all procedures and processes within the parts department.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the manufacturer and suppliers.
Helpful skills and qualifications:
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of maintaining a methodical and logical approach, particularly during busy periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proficient in IT, with experience of using web-based systems, email, and Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
