Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Rochdale £85 – £95 per day Age group: KS1 Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30-3:30) Start date: Immediate Value Education are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary school in the Rochdale area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs. Teaching Assistant duties: Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children Assisting with group activities Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis Teaching Assistant requirements: Previous experience working with children Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience) If this sounds like the role for you – please click ‘apply’, upload a recent copy of your CV and I will be in touch.
