About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Oldham on behalf of our supply agency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children in the early stages of their education, working closely with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils across Key Stage 1 with their learning and development.

Provide 1:1 and small group support, both inside and outside the classroom.

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

Help to create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.

Encourage pupils’ confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced working with children in a school or childcare setting (KS1 experience desirable).

Patient, caring, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting young learners.

Confident in working with children of varying abilities, including those with additional needs.

Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.

Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.
