We’re searching for motivated and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to join our welcoming primary schools across Wigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children in 1:1 and in small groups across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Assist teachers in creating engaging, inclusive lessons
- Promote positive behaviour and a love of learning
- Encourage resilience, social skills, and independence
- Create a safe, supportive learning environment
What we’re looking for:
- Have experience as a SEN TA, classroom TA, youth worker, mentor, or in a care role
- Be patient, adaptable, and committed to student success
- Can build positive relationships with young people
- Have experience supporting primary-aged children
- Be eager to learn and grow in education
- Able to commute across Wigan
- Qualified: TA 2, TA 3, HLTA etc – desirable but not essential
