A Mainstream Secondary School in the Bolton area is looking for a confident Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a long-term role with the right candidate having the opportunity to go permanent.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and be committed to helping each child in the most effective way depending on the individual needs.

Teaching Assistant duties:
  • Assisting the Class Teacher in preparing work for the lesson ahead
  • Ensuring the classroom is a tidy and safe environment for the children
  • Assisting with group activities
  • Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis
Teaching Assistant requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Confident in communicating with parents, pupils and members of staff
  • Be able to handle difficult situations efficiently
