Value Education are recruiting for a Young Offender Behaviour Mentor to work with young people aged between 4 and 12 who are receiving their education in a Primary School setting in the Salford area.
Support young people to access education, as they will often be very disengaged from school-life. Opportunity to make a difference to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, some of whom have suffered major trauma.
About the school:
- Based within a school setting
- Offer guidance and support both in the classroom, and also with social and emotional development
- Working hours are 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday to Friday
- Opportunity for the role to become a permanent position after a qualifying period is worked
Requirements:
- Be resilient
- Have an in-date Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
- Be able to demonstrate empathy
