We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH TA to work in specialist settings across SEN/SEMH in Salford and Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting their personal, social, and emotional development alongside their academic journey.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in managing a classroom and covering various subjects, also supporting behaviour management strategies, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
A successful Teaching Assistant in SEMH Settings will:
- Have worked with children that have SEN/SEMH Needs
- Have experience with EHCPs
- Be confident in managing a classroom
- Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways
- Be able to cover various subjects when needed
- Have excellent communication skills
