Location: Salford-Oldham
Salary: £120 - £150 per day
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cover Supervisor to work in specialist settings across SEN/SEMH in Salford and Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting their personal, social, and emotional development alongside their academic journey. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing a classroom and covering various subjects, supporting behaviour management strategies, and helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
A successful Cover Supervisor in SEND Settings will:
- Have previous experience as a Cover Supervisor (THIS IS ESSENTIAL)
- Worked with children that have SEN/SEMH Needs
- Experience with EHCPs
- Be confident in managing a classroom
- Be inspired to help students learn in new and exciting ways
- Able to cover various subjects when needed
- Have excellent communication skills

- Experience of working with young people in an educational, youth work, or mentoring capacity.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Ability to support students facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
