About the role

We’re seeking experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across Rochdale. Assignments range from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, providing you with the freedom to choose when and where you work.

A Teaching Assistant’s Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
  • Supporting children on a group and 1-1 basis
  • Leading interventions and occasional class cover
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Follow school policies and ensure continuity of learning
  • Collaborate with school staff and contribute to a supportive team culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Minimum 6 months recent experience working as a TA in a UK primary school setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
