Value Education is an established and growing education recruitment company supplying teachers and support staff to schools across the North West.
We are REC Education audited, an approved supplier on the Crown Commercial Service education framework and entering the next stage of our growth.
We are now looking for ambitious people to join the Value Education Trainee Academy: a structured six-month development programme designed to give you the knowledge, practical skills and commercial experience required to become a successful Education Recruitment Consultant.
You do not need previous recruitment experience. However, you will need evidence that you have the ambition, resilience, work ethic and commercial confidence needed to succeed in a demanding sales environment.
Recruitment is a sales career
Education recruitment is built on strong relationships and repeat business, but those relationships do not appear by themselves.
You will spend a significant amount of time:
- Making outbound telephone calls.
- Speaking to schools and candidates you have never contacted before.
- Developing new business.
- Building a candidate network from scratch.
- Working towards daily and weekly targets.
- Handling objections, setbacks and rejection.
- Managing several competing priorities.
- Completing important compliance and administrative work accurately.
This is not an administration, HR or education-support role. It is a fast-paced, target-driven sales position where your earnings and progression will be determined by your consistency, development and results.
The Value Education Trainee Academy
Our six-month programme combines structured training, practical assessments, live experience, ongoing coaching and clearly defined performance milestones.
You will be supported by a dedicated trainee lead, experienced high-performing consultants and a personal mentor throughout the programme.
What we are looking for
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in:
- Target-led sales.
- Business development or telesales.
- Recruitment or resourcing.
- Estate agency or car sales.
- Hospitality or retail management.
- Customer-facing roles with personal targets.
- Education combined with clear commercial confidence.
- Competitive sport or another environment involving sustained achievement.
Applicants without direct sales experience may still be considered, but you must be able to demonstrate a strong record of achievement, resilience, initiative and consistent hard work.
You should be:
