About the Role
Value Education is looking for a motivated and ambitious Secondary Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in Bury. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working in a fast-paced environment and playing a key role in supporting secondary schools across Greater Manchester.
You will be responsible for recruiting and supplying high-quality teaching and support staff to secondary schools, helping to ensure schools have the right people in place to deliver outstanding education.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am until 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with secondary schools across the local area.

Develop new business opportunities and grow your own client base.

Recruit, interview and register teachers, cover supervisors, teaching assistants and other secondary school support staff.

Match suitable candidates to daily supply, short-term and long-term assignments.

Manage the full recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to placing them into schools.

Maintain a strong candidate database through job boards, networking, referrals and social media.

Manage bookings, respond to school staffing requirements and provide an efficient service to clients.

Ensure all candidates meet the necessary safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Build long-term relationships with both schools and candidates to maximise repeat business.
About You

Previous recruitment or sales experience is desirable, ideally within education recruitment.

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

A confident, proactive and commercially minded approach.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Resilience, ambition and a genuine desire to achieve targets.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking ownership of your own desk.
