The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) has launched an ambitious data strategy, and we are seeking a Data Strategy Support Officer to assist with its implementation. The successful candidate will be organized, possess strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder skills, and will work within the Data Strategy, Management and Disclosure team. Reporting to the Senior Data Strategy Advisor, the role involves supporting complex data projects, maintaining project documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders across all directorates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and supporting the delivery of the Data Strategy by liaising with stakeholders and maintaining progress tracking tools.
- Organizing and providing secretariat support for governance and project meetings, including scheduling, agenda setting, minute-taking, and action tracking.
- Maintaining and updating the Data Strategy activity tracker and building strong working relationships across business areas.
- Contributing to reporting and presentations by synthesizing updates and insights.
- Analyzing programme activities to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and supporting the development of recommendations.
- Supporting the implementation of the data governance framework, including data ownership and stewardship roles.
- Maintaining the RACI matrix for data roles and responsibilities.
- Acting as a liaison between data owners, stewards, and technical teams to ensure consistent data standards.
- Leading specific workstreams related to the Data Strategy under guidance from the Senior Adviser.
