Valu-Trac was established in 1985. It provides accounting and administrative services to the UK fund industry for over 113 funds and has assets under administration of over £15.0 billion as at 30th April 2026. As part of its role as ACD, Valu-Trac provides accounting and administrative services for funds supported by the Fund Operations team. The Fund Operations team is responsible for the pricing of funds and supporting shareholders through transfer agency activities.

The Fund Accountant will report to the Assistant Fund Pricing Manager as part of the Fund Operations team. The Fund Accountant will be primarily responsible for the delivery of fund Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and the clearance of NAV pricing exceptions. This role may be suitable for a school leaver with strong academic grades, or someone who has completed a degree, HNC or HND.

Their main responsibilities for the role include:

  • Production of daily Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for funds
  • Review and clearance of exceptions within the NAV process
  • Approve exceptions as permitted with signing authorities
  • Escalate any issues to Assistant Fund Pricing Manager as required
  • Assist with supporting corporate events on funds such as liquidations, launches and mergers for fund accounting
  • Production of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Management Information (MI) for fund pricing and support for Assistant Fund Pricing Manager
  • Assist with support for projects such as fund accounting platforms including testing, implementation, parallel runs and interaction with project teams
  • Assist with support for any other projects and strategic enhancements providing input for the fund pricing team
  • Production and review of fund distributions and coordinating with other internal teams
  • Assist Assistant Fund Pricing Manager with drafting, maintenance and updating of procedures across fund pricing
  • Production and calculation of dilution rates and support for the dilution and swing factor process
