About the role

We are working with a fast‑growing B2B software company building automation solutions for complex business processes in mid‑market and enterprise organisations. Their product plugs into ERP and related systems and helps operations, finance, and supply‑chain teams eliminate manual work and errors.

We’re looking for a German‑speaking Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build and qualify pipeline across Europe. This is a hands‑on, learning‑intensive role where you will get real responsibility from day one and work closely with experienced sales leaders. If you are smart, ambitious, and serious about building a career in B2B sales, this is a strong foundation.

What you’ll do

  • Identify and research target accounts in the region.
  • Run outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone) to relevant stakeholders (operations, IT, finance, supply chain, etc.).
  • Hold connect and discovery calls to understand the prospect’s processes, pain points, and systems.
  • Clearly explain, in simple terms, how the solution helps automate and improve their workflows.
  • Qualify opportunities and book high‑quality meetings for the sales team (not just “any meeting”).
  • Keep the CRM up to date and use it to manage your pipeline and activities.
  • Collaborate with senior SDRs and Account Executives on messaging, targeting, and account strategy.
  • Learn continuously about the product, the market, and best‑practice outbound sales.

What they're looking for

  • German speaker (C2 / mother‑tongue level), plus fluent English.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, International Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or Supply Chain (or similar analytical field).
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales / SDR / BDR / business development OR relevant internships / working‑student roles.
  • Genuine motivation to build a career in B2B sales.
  • Strong communication skills - clear, structured, and confident on calls and in writing.
  • High curiosity and the ability to learn a complex, technical product quickly.
  • Resilience and drive - comfortable with outbound work, rejection and longer sales cycles.
  • Coachable, open to feedback, and eager to improve week by week.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, smaller team environment where you sometimes “wear multiple hats”.

Why this could be a great move for you

  • Work in a high‑growth B2B software environment with real complexity, not just a script.
  • Learn from experienced sales leaders and progress to more senior roles over time.
  • High visibility and impact: your work directly contributes to growth in the region.
  • Remote flexibility with opportunities to meet the team in person at regular off-sites in Switzerland.
