The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a driven, strategic, and results‑oriented Business Development Manager to accelerate revenue growth and expand collectionHQ’s presence across global markets. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and converting pipeline into measurable revenue. You’ll play a key role in identifying and opening new markets, engaging senior stakeholders, and delivering impactful software demonstrations that clearly communicate value. Success in this role comes from a proactive approach, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to consistently exceed sales targets. What You’ll Own
- Pipeline Generation & Business Growth
- Own the end‑to‑end business development cycle, from lead generation through to deal closure
- Identify and generate new leads through research, outreach, and networking across multiple channels (calls, emails, meetings, social media)
- Develop and execute strategies to expand into new markets and territories
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Drive consistent revenue growth through proactive opportunity management and strategic sales execution
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop and nurture relationships with prospective and existing clients to identify growth opportunities
- Understand client needs and tailor software solutions to align with their objectives
- Engage and present to senior stakeholders, delivering compelling value propositions
- Lead product demonstrations that clearly communicate solution benefits and ROI
- Sales Execution & Collaboration
- Prepare and deliver high‑quality proposals, presentations, and pitches
- Negotiate and close contracts to achieve or exceed sales targets
- Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align on campaigns, messaging, and product positioning
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline updates and sales forecasts to leadership

- Days 1–30: Discovery & Alignment
- Build strong relationships with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand offerings and go‑to‑market strategy
- Gain a deep understanding of the product suite, target customers, and market positioning
- Review existing pipeline, sales materials, and CRM data
- Shadow product demonstrations and client meetings
- Identify early opportunities and quick wins within existing leads and accounts
- Days 31–60: Pipeline Development & Execution
- Begin active outreach and lead generation across target markets
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline aligned with revenue targets
- Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients
- Refine messaging and approach based on market feedback
- Establish consistent CRM usage, forecasting, and reporting practices
- Days 61–90: Conversion & Growth
- Progress and close deals within the pipeline to drive revenue impact
- Optimise sales approach based on performance insights and conversion data
- Strengthen relationships with key prospects and partners
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve positioning and campaigns
- Build a scalable, repeatable business development engine aligned with growth targets
Who You Are
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Experience selling software solutions and delivering live product demonstrations
- Strong experience presenting to senior stakeholders and decision‑makers
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
