Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 base + commission

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday

About the Company

A fast-growing renewable energy business specialising in solar PV and low-carbon technologies across domestic and small commercial projects. With a strong pipeline of work and consistent lead flow in the Newark region, they are looking to expand their team with a technically minded Sales Consultant / Surveyor.

The Role

This is a hybrid sales and surveying position within the renewables sector. You will attend pre-qualified appointments, assess properties for solar PV suitability, design tailored systems, and convert opportunities into sales. This role suits someone with a strong understanding of renewable technologies and a consultative, customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attending pre-booked appointments with residential and light commercial customers
  • Conducting on-site surveys for solar PV and other renewable solutions
  • Designing systems and producing accurate, competitive quotations
  • Advising customers on energy savings, ROI, and sustainability benefits
  • Closing sales and managing the project journey through to installation
  • Working closely with installation teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Keeping up to date with renewable technologies
