Our client is a well established solar installation company based near Ashford, specialising in domestic Solar PV installations across Kent and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth they are looking to appoint an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join their installation team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing local business with a strong pipeline of work. All projects are local with no nationwide travel required, offering good earning potential and a strong work life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and electrical connection of Solar PV systems on domestic properties
- Working alongside roofing and installation teams to complete projects efficiently
- Testing and commissioning Solar PV systems
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with electrical regulations
- Collecting materials from the local depot when required
- Maintaining a professional approach when working in residential environments
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with experience installing Solar PV systems
- Experience working on domestic installations
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally based locally to Ashford due to morning material collections and local project locations
- 18th Edition (NO 2391 needed)
Package
- Salary between £35,000 and £48,000 depending on experience
- Permanent PAYE position preferred
- Contract opportunities may also be available
