About the Role
Valoris Group is recruiting a Renewable Electrical Site Manager to take a leading role across domestic and commercial renewable projects. You will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance across solar PV, air source heat pumps, ventilation, and wider electrical works. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with leadership, mentoring, and project delivery in a fast‑growing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular site visits to ensure compliance, quality, and safe working practices
- Oversee live installations including solar PV connections, ASHP electrical works, general electrical tasks, and DMEV systems
- Act as the technical lead and main point of contact for on‑site electricians
- Mentor, support, and review team performance, providing training and feedback where required
- Work with quality supervisors to maintain high standards across all projects
- Complete and review health and safety documentation, risk assessments, and method statements
- Conduct site inductions and ensure effective onboarding for new starters
- Perform van, stock, and equipment inspections to ensure operational readiness
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams
- Proactive problem‑solving and sound project delivery experience
- Solid knowledge of electrical design, installation, and maintenance
- Experience within the renewable energy sector, particularly solar PV
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong customer focus and professional approach
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
Desirable Qualifications
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Part P Building Regulations
- Health & Safety qualification
