We are seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Electrician for a permanent subcontract position delivering nationwide commercial solar projects. This is an ongoing opportunity offering stability, consistent workflow and long term progression within the commercial renewable sector. Candidates must be happy to work away from home as projects are delivered nationwide.

Role Responsibilities
- Installation, testing and commissioning of commercial solar PV systems
- Working on large scale commercial projects
- Electrical installation in line with current regulations and best practice
- Fault finding, inspection and testing
- Working away as required depending on project location
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified Electrician
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Inspection and Testing
- ECS Gold Card preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be happy to stay away and work nationwide
Desirable
- BPEC Solar qualification
- BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) experience or qualification
- Experience on commercial or ground mount solar projects
Training can be provided for Gold Card Electricians looking to transition into commercial solar and BESS work. This is a long term opportunity for a motivated electrician looking to build a career within the commercial solar and renewable energy sector.
