We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Electrician to support a social housing Solar PV rollout across the East Midlands and Worcestershire. This is an immediate requirement with ongoing work available for the right contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of domestic Solar PV systems on social housing properties
- AC and DC electrical works including containment, cabling and inverter installation
- Testing, inspection and fault finding
- Completion of electrical certification and handover documentation
- Working in occupied properties with professionalism and strong customer service
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with BS7671 and site H&S requirements
Qualifications
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent City & Guilds qualification
- Valid CSCS Card
- Proven experience installing Solar PV systems
- Experience working in domestic or social housing environments
- Own tools and transport
