About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Solar Electrician to join our team in Swansea. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance of solar PV systems across both domestic and commercial sites. You will play a key role in ensuring all electrical work is carried out to the highest safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Install, test, and commission solar PV systems on domestic and commercial properties.

Carry out fault finding, inspection, and repair of existing solar and electrical installations.

Perform electrical testing and certification in line with industry standards and regulations.

Ensure compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and relevant codes of practice.

Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and clients to deliver projects safely and on time.

Maintain accurate records of work, including inspection and test reports (2391).

Adhere to all health and safety requirements on site.
Requirements
-
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
-
C&G 2391 (Testing & Inspection) or equivalent.

Previous experience in solar PV installation (domestic and/or commercial).

ECS/JIB Gold Card preferred.

Full UK driving licence.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable

Experience with battery storage and EV charger installation.

IPAF/PASMA qualifications.
-
Knowledge of solar inverters and monitoring systems.
