The Opportunity: This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Heat Pump Engineer ready to take the next step. You will play a pivotal role in launching and leading the company’s new ASHP department, managing the full lifecycle of projects from planning to installation and sign-off. You will have real influence to shape how the division is structured, grow a subcontractor network, and help build a high-quality, scalable service offering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all ASHP installations from initial planning to final commissioning
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and on-site teams
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
  • Carry out on-site inspections to monitor progress and standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline project delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to the department's long-term strategy and growth
  • Act as the technical lead, remaining hands-on when required
  • Provide guidance on materials, technology, and efficient working practices

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven experience in air source heat pump installations
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of domestic heating systems
  • Confident managing subcontractors and overseeing multiple projects
  • Gas Safe registration and relevant qualifications (FGAS, WRAS, etc. desirable)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Previous leadership experience or a readiness to step into a senior/managerial role
  • Full UK driving licence
