Valoris Group is growing, and we are looking for a Recruitment Consultant or Junior Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Whiteley. We are a specialist recruitment business operating across some of the fastest-growing technical markets in the UK, including Renewable Energy, Solar PV, Heat Pumps, Electrical, HVAC, Building Services, Facilities Management, Fire & Security and Construction.

This is not a call-centre recruitment environment. You will have the freedom, technology, support and earning potential to build something for yourself.

Why Valoris? We are building Valoris around one simple idea: Give good recruiters the tools, autonomy and financial incentive to perform at their best. You will be joining a growing business where you are not just another number on a spreadsheet. You will have direct access to the Director, involvement in how your market develops and the opportunity to become a major part of the company as we scale.

We have invested heavily in technology, automation, candidate sourcing, CRM systems and business development tools so our consultants can spend more time doing what actually makes money: speaking to candidates, speaking to clients, filling jobs. You will not be starting from zero. You will be joining a warm market with existing clients, live jobs and active relationships already in place. Jobs and clients will be provided to help you get moving quickly, while you will also have the freedom to build and develop your own desk.

If you enjoy the candidate side of recruitment and would prefer to focus primarily on resourcing and delivery, we can facilitate that too. Not everyone wants to build a 360 recruitment desk, and we are happy to create a route that plays to your strengths.

What you could be doing

  • Managing existing client relationships
  • Working live vacancies already held by Valoris
  • Developing new clients and accounts
  • Sourcing and headhunting high-quality candidates
  • Interviewing and qualifying candidates
  • Managing interview processes and offers
  • Negotiating salaries and recruitment fees
  • Developing your own specialist market
  • Using LinkedIn, CV databases, our CRM and sourcing technology
  • Building a strong candidate network
  • Becoming genuinely knowledgeable within your sector

For experienced recruiters, you will be given the freedom to run your desk like a business. For junior consultants, we will teach you how to do it.

Junior Recruitment Consultant - Recruitment experience is not essential. We are far more interested in whether you are competitive, confident, commercially minded, resilient and genuinely motivated to build a successful career. You should be comfortable speaking to people, picking up the phone, learning quickly and working towards clear targets. Sales, telesales, estate agency, automotive sales, hospitality management, account management or other target-driven experience would all transfer well.

Recruitment Consultant - You will ideally already have experience running a recruitment desk and generating revenue. We want someone who can build strong relationships with candidates and clients, manage vacancies properly and contribute to the continued growth of the business. If you already have an established market or client network, even better. You will have autonomy without unnecessary layers of management slowing you down.

Your career trajectory - We are looking for people who want a career, not just another recruitment job. As Valoris grows, there will be genuine opportunities to progress through the business. That could mean:

  • Consultant
  • Senior Consultant
  • Principal Consultant
  • Team Leader
  • Divisional Manager
  • Associate Director
  • Director

If you are commercially strong, consistently perform and help build the business, there is no reason your career has to stop at consultant or manager level. We want future leaders to grow with Valoris.

The earning potential - We want consultants who want to earn serious money. You will receive:

  • Competitive basic salary based on experience
  • Uncapped commission
  • Warm jobs and existing client relationships
  • Clear progression opportunities
  • Opportunity to build and eventually lead your own market
  • Resourcing and delivery-only opportunities if that suits your strengths
  • No artificial ceiling on what you can bill or earn

Successful consultants within Valoris have the potential to take home £2,000 to £6,000+ per month depending on performance and commission. The more value you create, the more money you should make.

The office and benefits - We are based from our office in Whiteley, Hampshire. You will get:

  • Modern professional office environment
  • Free parking
  • Free gym membership
  • Free barista coffee
  • Weekly team lunches
  • Company laptop
  • Company iPhone
  • Modern recruitment technology and sourcing tools
  • Ongoing sales and recruitment training
  • Direct access to senior leadership
  • Genuine input into how your division develops

Most importantly, you will be joining a business that is still early enough in its growth that your performance can genuinely change your career trajectory within the company.

Where Valoris is going - We are not building a lifestyle recruitment agency. We are building a serious specialist recruitment business. Our ambition is to continue expanding across the UK, grow our client base, develop specialist recruitment divisions and build a team of high-performing consultants who can become managers, division heads and future directors. We want people who want to build something with us.

If you are already a recruiter and feel like you have hit a ceiling where you are, come and have a conversation. If you have never worked in recruitment but know you are ambitious, competitive and capable of more than your current role allows, we want to hear from you too.
