We are working with a fast-growing renewable energy business delivering high-quality domestic and commercial installations across Wales and parts of England. With a strong presence across solar PV, battery storage, air source heat pumps and wider smart energy solutions, the business has built an excellent reputation for growth, quality and customer delivery.
They are now looking to appoint an electrical quality supervisor to support installation quality, technical compliance and on-site standards across their renewable projects. This is a key position for a qualified electrical professional who understands how to maintain high standards across live installations, documentation, testing and sign-off, while supporting engineers and driving best practice across the business.
The role
You will take ownership of electrical quality across renewable installations, ensuring that all works are completed safely, compliantly and to a consistently high standard. You will be involved in live site reviews, inspection and testing, certification checks, remedial oversight, installer support and technical reporting. The role will suit someone who is organised, detail-focused and confident managing quality across multiple jobs and teams.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the quality of electrical installation works across solar PV, battery storage and associated renewable systems
- Carry out site inspections, audits and live installation reviews
- Ensure all electrical works are completed in line with current regulations, internal standards and health and safety requirements
- Review testing, commissioning and certification to ensure full compliance and accuracy
- Support electricians and installation teams with technical guidance and quality improvement
- Identify defects, non-conformances and areas for improvement, then ensure corrective actions are completed properly
- Work closely with operations and management teams to maintain strong delivery standards across all projects
- Monitor installation performance and provide clear reporting, feedback and recommendations
- Help drive a right‐first‐time culture across the electrical division
What we are looking for
- Fully qualified electrician with relevant industry experience
- Strong background in domestic electrical systems and renewable installation environments
- Previous experience in a quality, supervisory, testing or compliance‐focused role
- Sound understanding of inspection, testing and electrical certification
- Up‐to‐date knowledge of current wiring regulations and site compliance standards
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently while also supporting site teams and wider operations
- Professional, practical and solutions‐led approach
