Job Scope: Domestic solar installations (4 to 10 panels per job)
Overview
We are seeking experienced Solar Roofers and Electricians to support domestic PV installations across Berkshire. Successful contractors will deliver high quality installs with a focus on safety, customer service, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Solar Roofers
- Install roof mounting systems for domestic solar PV
- Lay and secure solar panels in line with design specifications
- Ensure all work is watertight and completed to roofing best practices
- Work safely at height and maintain clean sites
- Install and commission domestic solar PV systems
- Complete DC and AC wiring, inverter installation, and testing
- Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and MCS installation standards
- Complete relevant electrical certification and handover documentation
Requirements
- Solar Roofers
- Proven domestic solar roofing experience
- Own tools and transport
- Working at height experience
- CSCS/ECS preferred
- Qualified electrician with experience in domestic solar PV
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition ECS card and test equipment
- Own tools and transport
