We are seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Engineer to join a leading team in building services. This role offers flexibility, with options for both permanent and contract employment, competitive pay, and excellent benefits. Operating across London, you will take on a critical role in maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting HVAC systems in high-end residential and commercial properties.
Role Summary
As an HVAC Engineer, you will handle a variety of technical responsibilities, including the installation, repair, and servicing of HVAC systems such as Heat Interface Units (HIUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR). Your expertise will help ensure the seamless operation of HVAC systems, delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair a range of HVAC systems, including HIUs, FCUs, and MVHR units.
- Perform installations and commissioning with efficiency and a focus on quality.
- Conduct planned preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults to minimise downtime for clients.
- Provide detailed and accurate reports using a digital reporting platform.
- Liaise professionally with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.
- Plan and manage materials, tools, and resources effectively for each project.

Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven experience working with HVAC systems, including HIUs, FCUs, and MVHR units.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating systems.
- Relevant technical certifications in plumbing, heating, or HVAC.
- F-Gas certification is highly desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence and familiarity with London's road network.
- Registered under CIS, with valid UTR and NIN numbers.
- Proficient in written and verbal English for accurate reporting and client communication.
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and maintenance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in reactive maintenance and system diagnostics.
