Salary: £28,000-£32,000 basic + KPI Bonus + Overnight Allowance
OTE: £35,000-£40,000

Overview:
Were recruiting on behalf of a national fire safety provider looking for a committed Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer. This position is ideal for someone early in their electrical career perhaps a third-year apprentice or recently qualified engineer who's keen to specialise in fire alarm servicing and grow with a business that supports development and nationwide work.
You'll be joining a collaborative team delivering compliance and safety services across the UK, with travel and overnight stays typically required from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and fault-find on commercial fire alarm systems
- Test emergency lighting and replace fittings where necessary
- Complete compliance reports to a high standard
- Work in line with relevant regulations (e.g., BS 5839) and company safety protocols
- Travel to client sites across the country, with overnight accommodation arranged
Candidate Profile:
- A third-year electrical apprentice or recently qualified engineer
- Comfortable with emergency lighting testing and replacements
- Proactive, flexible, and comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays
- Interested in developing a long-term career in fire safety
- Holds a full UK driving licence
Package Includes:
- £28,000-£32,000 basic salary depending on experience
- On-target earnings up to £40,000
- Overnight stay allowance
