Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a national fire safety provider looking for a committed Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer. This position is ideal for someone early in their electrical career, perhaps a third-year apprentice or recently qualified engineer who is keen to specialise in fire alarm servicing and grow with a business that supports development and nationwide work. You will be joining a collaborative team delivering compliance and safety services across the UK, with travel and overnight stays typically required from Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and fault-find on commercial fire alarm systems
- Test emergency lighting and replace fittings where necessary
- Complete compliance reports to a high standard
- Work in line with relevant regulations (e.g., BS 5839) and company safety protocols
- Travel to client sites across the country, with overnight accommodation arranged
Candidate Profile:
- A third-year electrical apprentice or recently qualified engineer
- Comfortable with emergency lighting testing and replacements
