Valoris Group is recruiting Renewable Energy Engineers / Solar PV Installers on behalf of an established renewable energy business.
This is an opportunity to put your practical skills to work on solar projects across the UK, joining an experienced team delivering installations and keeping renewable energy systems performing at their best.

The Opportunity
You will support the installation, operation and maintenance of solar PV systems at sites nationwide. The work offers variety, hands-on involvement and the opportunity to broaden your experience within the renewable energy sector.
This role involves regular working away from home. You will need to be comfortable travelling across the UK and working flexibly around project requirements, including evenings and weekends where necessary.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assisting with the installation of solar PV systems.
- Supporting planned maintenance and operational work on existing installations.
- Working closely with engineers and installation teams to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Following site instructions, installation processes and health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining accurate work records and communicating progress to the wider team.
- Delivering a high standard of workmanship across every project.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in renewable energy, roofing or general construction.
- A practical approach and pride in the quality of your work.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- A methodical, accurate approach to completing tasks.
- Flexibility to travel nationwide and regularly stay away from home.
- Availability for evening and weekend work when projects require it.
- A full driving licence.
Useful Skills and Qualifications
The following would strengthen your application, although they are not essential:
- Previous solar PV installation experience.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- Telehandler qualification.
- MEWP categories 3a and 3b.
- Working at Height training.
- Manual Handling training.
- Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace.
- CSCS card.
