Valoris Group are working in partnership with a growing renewable heating specialist based near the Surrey and Hampshire border. Due to continued growth across domestic low-carbon heating projects, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Engineer / Installer. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer who wants to build a long-term career within renewables, working with a business that genuinely focuses on quality installations, system performance, customer care and engineer development.

The Role

You will be responsible for installing, commissioning and supporting Air Source Heat Pump systems across domestic properties, mainly covering Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding areas. You will work as part of an experienced installation team, delivering high-quality renewable heating projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing Air Source Heat Pump systems in domestic properties
  • Installing unvented hot water cylinders and associated pipework
  • Decommissioning and removing existing boiler systems
  • Carrying out pipework alterations and heating system upgrades
  • Supporting with commissioning, testing and system handover
  • Basic fault finding, servicing and maintenance
  • Ensuring work is completed in line with building regulations, manufacturer standards and MCS requirements
  • Liaising professionally with customers, surveyors and office staff
  • Delivering clean, high-quality work in occupied domestic properties

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience installing Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Strong plumbing and heating background
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing and Heating, or equivalent
  • G3 Unvented qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good customer-facing manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Knowledge of MCS standards would be beneficial
  • Additional qualifications such as WRAS, F-Gas or electrical tickets would be advantageous
