They are now looking to appoint an Electrical Quality Supervisor to support installation quality, technical compliance and on-site standards across their renewable projects. This is a key position for a qualified electrical professional who understands how to maintain high standards across live installations, documentation, testing and sign-off, while supporting engineers and driving best practice across the business.

The role

You will take ownership of electrical quality across renewable installations, ensuring that all works are completed safely, compliantly and to a consistently high standard. Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the quality of electrical installation works across solar PV, battery storage and associated renewable systems
  • Carry out site inspections, audits and live installation reviews
  • Ensure all electrical works are completed in line with current regulations, internal standards and health and safety requirements
  • Review testing, commissioning and certification to ensure full compliance and accuracy
  • Support electricians and installation teams with technical guidance and quality improvement
  • Identify defects, non-conformances and areas for improvement, then ensure corrective actions are completed properly
  • Work closely with operations and management teams to maintain strong delivery standards across all projects
  • Monitor installation performance and provide clear reporting, feedback and recommendations
  • Help drive a right-first-time culture across the electrical division

What we are looking for

  • Sound understanding of inspection, testing and electrical certification
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current wiring regulations and site compliance standards
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently while also supporting site teams and wider operations
  • Professional, practical and solutions-led approach

Required qualifications

  • Level 3 electrical qualification
  • 18th Edition
  • Inspection and Testing

Desirable

  • Experience within solar PV and battery storage
  • Knowledge of renewable energy installation standards and best practice
  • Previous exposure to auditing, remedials or post-install quality checks
  • ECS card
  • Full UK driving licence
