Valoris Group is recruiting four experienced Contract Electricians for a full school refurbishment project in Hartlepool. The project is expected to last approximately six weeks and will involve a range of commercial electrical installation works across the site. We are looking for qualified electricians with strong commercial experience, ideally supported by previous exposure to renewable energy systems, including air source heat pumps and solar PV.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out commercial electrical installation works
- Working as part of a wider refurbishment and renewable energy project
- Installation and connection of electrical systems and associated equipment
- Supporting air source heat pump and solar PV installation works
- Completing containment, cabling, wiring, termination and testing
- Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to current regulations
- Liaising with site management and other trades
- Maintaining a clean and professional working environment
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS or CSCS card
- Previous commercial electrical experience
- Experience working on refurbishment or construction projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own tools and suitable PPE
- Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements
