You'll lead a team of two Key Account Managers and a Business Development Manager, giving them clear goals, coaching them to perform at their best, and keeping the pipeline strong, well-qualified and focused on the opportunities that matter most.
What you'll be doing
Leading Valor Hospitality's business development strategy and finding new ways to grow revenue and market share across the portfolio
Owning a portfolio of high-value clients, agents and partnerships, growing share of wallet and cross-selling across our hotels

Working hand in hand with hotel Sales, Revenue and Hotel General Managers teams to fill need periods and close commercial gaps
Building a business development culture in our hotels through training, best practice and practical support on lead referral and conversion
Delivering targeted sales campaigns and blitzes with the central Sales & Marketing team, and representing Valor Hospitality at trade shows, industry events and client presentations
Sharing market and competitor insight that helps our leaders make better commercial decisions
Keeping Salesforce accurate and meaningful, and reporting on revenue, pipeline, conversion and partnership performance
What you'll bring
Significant senior business development or sales experience in hotels or hospitality, including managing accounts centrally across multiple properties
Specialist Meeting & Events knowledge and established relationships with Meeting & Events agents and customers (essential)
A proven record of measurable revenue growth and hitting commercial targets
Experience leading, developing and motivating a sales or business development team
Strong commercial instincts, with the strategic view to see the bigger portfolio opportunity and the focus to deliver it
A natural relationship builder who is confident with senior stakeholders, clients, hotel leaders and brand teams
Strong analytical skills, using data, CRM and market intelligence to guide where effort goes
Confident Excel and PowerPoint skills; Salesforce experience is a bonus
Experience with one or more global hotel brands, would be great but isn't essential
