Great hotels are built by great people - and great people don't just show up. Someone has to find them, guide them through the process, and then help them grow once they're through the door. That someone is you. We’re looking for a Recruitment & Development Coordinator to sit at the heart of our people machine: part talent matchmaker, part project manager, part first point of contact for everyone from a nervous candidate awaiting an interview slot to a General Manager chasing an update on their pipeline.

You’ll work alongside our Talent & Resourcing Director and Learning & Development Manager, but you won’t be waiting to be told what to do - you’ll be the one keeping recruitment moving and training running, spotting what needs chasing before anyone has to ask.

A flavour of what you’ll get stuck into:

  • On the recruitment side, you’re the reason candidates feel looked after - replying quickly, chasing the right people, and turning “we’re hiring a manager” into a smooth, well‑run process from first application to first day.
  • You’ll keep our Teamtailor pipelines humming, brief hiring managers before they even ask, and make sure references and pre‑employment checks never become the reason someone’s start date slips.
  • On the development side, you’re the glue that holds our learning calendar together. Courses get filled with the right people, joining instructions land in inboxes on time, and when someone’s missed a compliance deadline, you’re already onto it before it becomes a bigger conversation.
  • You’ll keep our Mapal records clean, our training calendar visible, and our external providers organised – so when we ask “who’s ready for what’s next,” the answer is one Talent Grid away.

It’s varied, it’s fast‑paced, and no two days look quite the same - but the thread running through all of it is you making things run better for everyone around you.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

  • Get a genuine kick out of being organised and keeping plates spinning without dropping any.
  • Communicate warmly and clearly, whether you’re emailing a candidate, chasing a manager, or updating a director.
  • Have used an ATS or LMS before (Teamtailor or Mapal experience is a nice‑to‑have, not a must).
  • Care about the experience people have - candidates and Team Members alike - even when the answer is “no” or “not yet.”
  • Can spot a gap or a problem early, and just quietly go and fix it.

Benefits:

  • Discounted hotel stays and food & beverage across Valor Hospitality properties, for you and your friends/family.
  • Wellbeing support, including access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Ongoing training and development, with clear routes into supervisory and management roles.
  • Recognition through long‑service and performance awards.
  • Pension scheme and workplace perks in line with Valor Hospitality’s standard offering.
