Responsibilities- Carry out duty management shifts according to business needs.
- Participate in departmental meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals.
- Manage the daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring the highest standards of service.
- Plan, organise and direct the overall food and beverage operation, administration, marketing and promotion of the outlet.
- Maintain control measures to keep food, beverage and labour costs within budget.
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar and room service.
- Communicate effectively with the Food and Beverage Manager, Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager.
- Work flexibly – open 7 days a week and 365 days a year – with shifts and days negotiated at interview, typically busier during evenings and weekends.
- Support internal or external training programs and apprenticeship pathways.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
