Position Overview

£30,000.00 per annum / £14.42 per hour + Service Charge. 40 hours per week across 5 days.

We are looking for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager who is a strong leader, has interpersonal and training skills, and is a team player and motivator.

The role involves managing the day‑to‑day operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring high standards of service, controlling costs, and contributing to profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain control measures to ensure food and beverage costs, productivity, labour costs and operating supply costs are within budget.
  • Carry out duty management shifts according to business needs.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to review progress towards business plan goals.
  • Manage the daily operation of the food and beverage outlets, including administration and promotion.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar and room service.
  • Ensure clear communication with the Food and Beverage Manager, Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Work flexible shifts across the 7‑day week; busier during evenings and weekends.
