In this role, you will work within the Central Finance Team. You will support the overall finance function and spend 3 months rotating around key areas of the department – for example:

  • Supporting the audit function
  • Working within accounts payable, credit control or supporting the management accountants
  • Acting as a Finance Assistant in one of the hotels

The aim is to develop you into a well‑rounded Finance Graduate, giving you options to develop into a fully fledged member of the team. Your contributions will support financial reporting, audit processes and daily financial operations, ensuring our hotels maintain the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Providing essential financial information to management accountants and the regional financial controller.
  • Offering financial support and guidance to Hotel General Managers and department teams.
  • Processing and reconciling daily cash and credit card banking, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
  • Auditing the work of hotel teams to ensure it meets established standards and requirements.
  • Adhering to audit procedures and complying with security requirements to meet company and hotel standards.
  • Consistently delivering superior customer service through our Customer Service Programme.
  • Attending required training sessions and complying with health and safety, fire procedures and other statutory legislation.
  • Auditing daily business activities and maintaining accuracy in hotel accounts.
  • Providing weekly and monthly EPS payroll analysis reports for hotel review.
  • Monitoring and reviewing EPSYS, preparing GRNI at month‑end.
  • Ensuring timely and informative financial information delivery, collaborating closely with the shared service team.
  • Supporting hotel teams in monitoring and reporting on KPIs, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Liaising with Corporate Risk Internal Auditor to maintain tight financial controls in the hotels, ensuring PCI and GDPR compliance.
