We are looking for an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to lead, inspire and motivate our operational teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving commercial performance across the hotel.
As our Hotel Operations Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to drive operational excellence throughout the hotel.
Ensuring seamless guest experiences and consistently high brand standards will be at the heart of your day-to-day activities.
You will lead from the front, supporting your teams to deliver outstanding service while maintaining a safe, efficient and welcoming environment for our guests and team members.
Working collaboratively with your department heads, you will maximise commercial opportunities, manage operational costs, improve performance and enhance employee engagement.
About the Hotel
Located at the entrance to Exeter Science Park, voco Zeal is a premium 4-star hotel with 142 stylish bedrooms, a restaurant and bar showcasing local produce, a mini gym, gardens and versatile meeting space.

- Proven experience in hotel operations or a similar management role, with a track record of delivering exceptional guest service.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, with experience of managing budgets and driving operational performance.
- A thorough understanding of hotel operations, guest satisfaction and brand standards.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
