We’re looking for someone to lead our kitchens, shape our identity and drive our standards. At Valor, food and beverage isn’t a mere amenity — it’s an opportunity to create one-of-a-kind concepts, fuelled by passion, innovation and creativity. It’s embedded in our DNA. Our dining experiences are an integral part of the overall guest journey, and we design and curate them to resonate with guests and locals alike. This is a rare opportunity for a talented culinary leader who can work at pace and scale without compromising on quality, creativity, or the experience of their team and guests.
The Operation: Our food and beverage operation includes a vibrant restaurant, bar and terrace alongside an extensive conference, meetings and banqueting offering — including gala dinners for up to 450 covers. This is high-volume hospitality at a premium level, and it demands someone who brings both the craft and the composure to lead it.
What You Will Lead: As Executive Chef, you will have full ownership of our culinary offering — from the quality of what lands on a guest’s plate at 7am to the theatre of a large-scale gala dinner. Working with SAVOR, our group food & beverage division, your remit will span:
- Menu development that reflects genuine skill, seasonal thinking and a sense of place.
- Building and inspiring a brigade that cooks with pride and purpose.
- Creating a kitchen culture that attracts and retains great people.
- Managing food safety, compliance, budgets and supplier relationships with the same rigour you bring to your cooking.
Crucially, we are not looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We want a chef with vision — someone who will look at our spaces, our guests and our potential, and see a canvas for something outstanding.
What We’re Looking For: You will be a proven leader at Executive Chef or strong Head Chef level, with experience across:
- High-volume hotel or large venue environments.
- Banqueting and events at scale.
- Brigade management — leading, developing and retaining kitchen talent.
- Menu development and creative concept work.
- Food safety, compliance and HACCP management.
- Cost control, purchasing and supplier management.
You will hold a relevant culinary qualification and strong food hygiene credentials. A background in premium hotel, fine dining or large-scale events environments is essential. Above all, you will be someone your team want to follow — calm under pressure, clear in your communication, and serious about food.
