Crowne Plaza Leeds offers a rewarding opportunity for those who are passionate about food and beverage management. We seek a strong leader with interpersonal and training skills, who is a good communicator, service-oriented, and detail-focused. As a team player and motivator, you will implement and maintain control measures to ensure that Food and Beverage costs, productivity, labour costs, and operating supply costs align with the budget.
Your responsibilities include:
- Planning budgets and reviewing forecasts for revenue and expenditure on a monthly basis.
- Carrying out Duty Management shifts according to business needs.
- Analysing and submitting month-end reports, identifying deviations from business plan goals.
- Participating in management meetings to review progress towards achieving business plan goals and developing the annual business plan for the outlet.
- Planning, implementing, and measuring profit enhancement programs in collaboration with the kitchen and sales department.
- Preparing and submitting post-mortem promotion reports to the General Manager upon completion of promotions.
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the daily management of the Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring the highest standards of service are provided to guests. You will plan, organise, and direct the overall Food and Beverage operation, including administration, marketing, and promotion, while being accountable for profitability and revenue generation.
Key qualifications include a good understanding of food hygiene and Health and Safety procedures. You will prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for the Restaurant, Bar, and Room service, ensuring constant liaison with the Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager, and Operations Manager.
We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, requiring flexibility in shifts and days. Career training opportunities include nationally recognised apprenticeships alongside detailed brand training.
