We go beyond simply managing hotels — we build exceptional teams, elevate guest experiences and drive commercial results through creativity and innovation. Now we’re looking for a talented Meetings and Events Sales Supervisor to join our Revenue Office team.

About the Role

As Meetings & Events Sales Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maximising revenue across the Meetings and Events operation. Working closely with the Commercial Manager, you will lead and develop the Meetings and Events team, oversee enquiry conversion, ensure pricing and selling strategies are followed, and champion a culture of commercial awareness and outstanding customer service. This is a hands‑on leadership role that sits at the heart of the hotel’s commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive enquiry conversion through best‑in‑class call handling, product knowledge and customer service.
  • Ensure pricing and selling strategies are applied across all market segments to achieve financial targets.
  • Support the Commercial Manager with weekly and monthly forecasting, demand analysis and promotion planning.
  • Monitor and drive performance against Revenue KPIs, keeping the team focused on key commercial metrics.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely production of event schedules, bills and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Liaise cross‑functionally with Operations, Reception, Accounts and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Conduct show rounds and client appointments, and keep competitor intelligence up to date.
  • Uphold and continuously improve departmental operating standards in line with Valor and brand requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a meetings, events or hospitality sales environment is essential.
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience, with a genuine enjoyment of developing others.
  • Commercially minded, with a solid understanding of revenue management principles and Meetings and Events metrics.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A confident, professional communicator who builds strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in hotel systems and Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or revenue management tools is advantageous.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • A commitment to delivering consistently superior customer service.
