Own the night. Lead with confidence. Be the calm in the quiet hours. When the lights dim and the pace changes, our Night Manager steps up. We're looking for an experienced and dependable Night Manager to take charge of the hotel during overnight hours — ensuring our guests feel safe, welcomed, and well looked after, and that our operation runs smoothly from dusk till dawn. This is a pivotal leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, works calmly under pressure, and takes pride in running a tight, well-organised shift.
At Valor Hospitality, we trust our leaders. You'll be supported, empowered, and given the space to run your shift properly — while staying true to our people-first, Hotelitarian culture.
The role As Night Manager, you'll be the senior leader on duty overnight, responsible for guest experience, team supervision, safety, and smooth handover into the morning operation. You'll combine strong operational knowledge with a reassuring presence — handling anything the night brings with professionalism and care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supervising the night team, ensuring duties are completed to a high standard
- Managing guest check-ins and check-outs, providing a warm and professional welcome
- Handling guest queries, issues, and complaints promptly and confidently
- Ensuring full compliance with safety, security, and hotel procedures overnight
- Coordinating with other departments to support seamless service delivery
- Maintaining accurate night reports, occupancy records, and incident logs
- Supporting onboarding, training, and development of night team members
- Assisting with scheduling, performance feedback, and basic HR activity as required
What you'll bring
You're an experienced hospitality professional with supervisory experience and a steady, solutions-focused approach. You're comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, and leading a team — even when you're the most senior person on site. You'll also bring:
- Proven supervisory experience within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent guest service instincts and communication skills
- The ability to stay calm, organised, and decisive under pressure
- Experience with hotel systems (knowledge of PMS software is an advantage)
- Multilingual skills are highly desirable, but not essential
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays
Why join us? Because nights matter — and so do the people who run them. We offer:
- Full-time, permanent employment
- Additional pay through tips
- Employee discounts and discounted or free food
- Health & wellbeing programme
- Free on‐site parking
- A supportive team environment with opportunities to develop your career with Valor Hospitality
Schedule: Night shifts
Education: A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
Work location: In person
If you take pride in running a great overnight operation, enjoy leading with confidence, and want to be part of a hotel that genuinely values its people — we'd love to hear from you.
